Peggy Lee Armour, age 81 of LaVergne, died Tuesday. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Charles Chuck Armour who died in 2011. Mrs. Armour was a retired seamstress and a member of LaVergne First United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She is survived by her son Michael Armour and wife Nona of N.C.; daughters, Stephanie Lawson and husband Ron of Lebanon, Melanie Pilkerton and husband Tom of AL; grandchildren, Celeste Rodgers and husband Kris of GA; Chad Armour and wife Keely of N.C.; Ronnie Lawson and wife Brittany of Lebanon, Darla Lawson and Quan of Lebanon, Dylan and Amber Hardy of AL; great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Cade Rodgers of GA; Avery Chase Armour of N.C., A.J. and J.J. Eddings of Lebanon, Jordan Lawson of Lebanon; sisters; Alma Rule Millaway of Hixson, and Anna Ruth Vandergrift of Knoxville and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Peggy Armour to LaVergne First United Methodist Church Music Department or Hearthside Independent Living. Visitation will be after 10:00AM Saturday at LaVergne First Methodist Church with a Celebration of Peggys life at12 Noon Saturday at the church. Buddy Royston officiating, and music by Tim Hayden..
