April 10, 1979 – January 6, 2024
Paxton Rutland Holloway, age 44 of Murfreesboro died Saturday January 6, 2024. He was born in Nashville, TN and lived most of his life in Murfreesboro. Paxton was a devoted husband, loving and strong father, brother, and dear friend to many. Paxton leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and resilience. He was an exceptional man and will be remembered by his unwavering spirit and hardworking nature.
Paxton served six honorable years as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He was deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004 for a yearlong tour and was stationed in Camp Fallujah. He will be remembered as a devoted Marine brother by those he served alongside. His dedication and service provides a true picture of Paxton's character.
Paxton was a supervisor at Nissan Motor Manufacturing in Smyrna, TN. He was a member at North Boulevard Church of Christ.
Paxton was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Kennedy Holloway Grasty and stepfather, Bill Grasty. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Amanda Holloway; two sons, Knox and Eli Holloway; father, Clay Holloway and wife Ruby; brothers, Kennedy Holloway and wife Amanda, Garrett Holloway and wife Ashley, and Nelson Holloway; stepbrothers, Joey Grasty and wife Betty, Christopher Grasty and wife Kim; stepsisters, Sally Kesterson and husband Tommy, Mary Thompson and husband Jeff.

Visitation will be 4:00PM to 7:00PM Friday, January 12, 2024 and funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday January 13, 2024, both at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Military Honors. www.woodfinchapel.com
