Pauline Mooneyham Van Winkle, age 78 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Saturday May 3, 2014. A native of Van Buren County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Billy and Mary Miller Mooneyham. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rip Earl Van Winkle, and her son, Temmy Van Winkle, and her brothers, Douglas Mooneyham, Lester Haston, and Arlen Mooneyham, and a sister, Lorene Blankenship. Mrs. Van Winkle is survived by her son, Terry Van Winkle and his wife Jennifer of LaVergne, TN; sister, Nida Dodson of the Mooneyham community in Van Buren County, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy Van Winkle and his wife, Sherry of LaVergne, TN, T. J. Van Winkle and his wife, Ajia of the Walter Hill community, and Stefanie Bone and her husband, Jason of Nashville, TN; great grandson, Daniel Van Winkle. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Pastor Cecil Van Winkle officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Van Winkle was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church and a homemaker. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at WOODFIN CHAPEL, SMYRNA. 615-459-3257.
