Pauline Freeman Stroop, age 80 of Murfreesboro, died Friday, August 28, 2015. She was a native of Fayette County, TN and a daughter of the late William Preston and Anna Lee Windrow Freeman. She was also preceded by a son, Ronald Fults; and two sisters, Peggy Winfree and Josephine Freeman. Survivors include her husband, Robert T. Stroop; daughters, Wanda Cagle and her husband Danny, Teresa "Gail" Jenkins; daughter in law, Terry Fults; step-daughter, Diane Howard and her husband Wayne, Darlene Waddell and her husband Herman; and a step-son, Douglas Stroop, all of Murfreesboro; sister, Marie Stacey of Christiana; grandchildren, Wayne Pendergrast and wife Tracy, Jennifer Simshauser and husband Nickolas, Ronald Jenkins and wife Jessica, Jonathan Carter and Tonya Johnson; ten great-grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. John Tipton and Bro. James Tipton officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Stroop was a member of the Bible Church of Jesus where she enjoyed and participated in gospel singing. She was a retired employee of Cummings Sign Co.
