Services for Paula Blankenship Masoud, age 55, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Andy Neely officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of funeral services. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Paula was born May 11, 1961 in Jackson, Tennessee.  She graduated from Old Hickory Academy in 1979 and the University of Tennessee in 1983 with a B.S. in communications. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority at UT.

She moved to Louisville, Kentucky in 1984 where she was employed by Presbyterian Publishing and later Store Value Solutions from 2005-2011 as Senior Manager.  In 2011 she moved to Atlanta, Georgia and worked as Sr. Director at InComm until the time of her death.

Paula was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence & Erma Smothers and Cecil and Loula Blankenship, both of Bruceton, TN.  She leaves to cherish her precious memory her father, Jim Blankenship and wife Karin of Medina, TN; her mother, Mae Smothers Blankenship of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Greg Blankenship and wife Beth of Big Springs Community; sister, Amy Powell and husband Jeff of Fairhope, AL; nieces, Sydney and Ellie Blankenship; Sarah and Macy Powell; aunts and cousins.
