Paul G. White, age 48, of Ashland  City, TN, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. A native of Brookhaven, New York, he was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Anthony White.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Pastor Rick Cua will officiate. A graveside service will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Mapleview Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Claire White of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Thomas A. White and his wife Cheryl of Center Moriches, NY, Michael M. White of Nashville, TN, and Stephen J. White of Smyrna, TN; sister, Cynthia J. Stone and her husband Chris of Murfreesboro; niece, Heather Garland and her husband Josh; nephews, Nicholas White, Sean White and his wife Megan, Matthew White, Ethan Stone, and Aidan Stone; Aunt, Carolyn D'Amico of Ridge, NY along with many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Paul was a teacher with Nashville Metro Public Schools for 23 years with 18 of those years spent at Eakin Elementary School in Nashville, TN. He loved photograpy and going to the beach and also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise and a warm sunset. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Thomas White, Michael White, Stephen White, Chris Stone, Nicholas White, Sean White, and Matthew White will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
