Paul Dwight Postlewait, age 64 of Murfreesboro, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by family. He was born January 11, 1953 in Mountain Grove, Missouri to Ruth Smith Tatum and the late Paul D. Postlewait.

Mr. Postlewait is survived by his wife of 41 years, Penny Crim Postlewait; his sons, Jonathan Paul "J.P." Postlewait and his wife Sheree and Daniel Joseph "D.J." Postlewait and his wife Lydia, all of Springfield, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lily, Asher, and Isaiah; his mother, Ruth Tatum of Canton, Georgia; a brother, Doug Postlewait and wife Rebecca of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and sisters, Kathy MacNaughton and husband Mike of San Antonio, Texas and Stephanie Nielsen and husband Allen of Woodstock, Georgia; several nieces, nephews, and other loving family.

Dwight worked at Service Merchandise for over 28 years and most recently was in distribution management for Dell Computer and OHL/Geodis Logistics. He loved fishing, nature, and being with his family. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and permanent smile.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial services beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro.
