Paul David Masterson , age 80, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Saturday November 26, 2016. A native of New Madrid, MO, he was the son of the late John Watt Jackson Masterson and Florence Lee Mast Masterson. Mr. Masterson was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Margaret Davis, William Watson "Junior" Masterson, Jimmy Masterson, Geraldine Rodgers, Maxine Barron, and an infant brother, Jackie Masterson.

Mr. Masterson is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carrell Lee Dyer Masterson; sons, David Masterson and his wife Annette, of Murfreesboro, TN, and Scott Masterson and his wife Melissa, of Oklahoma City, OK; daughters, Catherine Tubb and her husband Titus of Wentzville, MO, and Cynthia Warner and her husband, Jeff of Herrin, IL; sisters, Nadine Vent of New Madrid, MO and Carolyn Vent of Lilbourn, MO; grandchildren, Christa Hill, Amanda Delbridge, Amy Warner, Derek Tubb, Candace Johnson, Matthew Warner, and Stephen Masterson; and ten great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Pentecostals of Murfreesboro Church, 1800 New Lascassas Pike Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at the church, with Pastor Kevin Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with military honors. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Masterson was a member of The Pentecostals of Murfreesboro, and a Vietnam US Army veteran. He was a graduate, and received his BS degree from the University of Missouri.
