PAUL HOLDEN, age 74, of Manchester died July 1, 2008 at Middle Tn. Medical Center. He was born in Christiana and was the son of the late Emmett & Vera Wiggs Holden. He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae Holden; daughter, JoAnn Skidmore, Nashville; step daughters, Kammie Vincent, Manchester and Rhonda Keele, Manchester; brothers, Donald Holden, Marietta, Ga. and Howard Holden, Murfreesboro; sister, Ruth Hume, Knoxville, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services 2 pm Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Barry Phelps officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family 4-8 pm Saturday. Mr. Holden was of the Baptist Faith, veteran of the U. S. Navy having served in the Korean Conflict, former basketball center with the Christiana High School Basketball Team, a Mason of the Scottish & York Rite, and a retired machinist.
