Sr. Chief Paul R. Hartman (U.S. Navy - Ret.), age 62, of Smyrna, TN died Sunday, April 5, 2015 at his home. He was born in Wiesbaden, Germany to Maxwell C. and Eva Ann Kandrotas Hartman. Mr. Hartman proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a jet mechanic and was a member of the American Legion Post #88. He was an avid fisherman, deer hunter, an ace machinist and motorcycle mechanic. Mr. Hartman was preceded in death by his father, Maxwell Hartman; son, Nathan Hartman; and brother, Max Hartman. Mr. Hartman is survived by his wife of 42 years, Denise Hartman; daughter, Amber Hartman; granddaughter, Landry Childree; and mother, Eva Hartman. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 1:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with fellowship afterward. Pastor Lane Reuter will officiate.
