Paul Gene Chamberlain, age 48 of Smyrna, died Monday at Stone Crest Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Valparaiso, Indiana and a son of the late Gene and Edna Chamberlain. Mr. Chamberlain was a veteran of the United States Army and the Tennessee Army National Guard. Mr. Chamberlain is survived by his longtime companion Lois Collins of Smyrna, her daughter Bridget and grandson Skylar; two children Andrew Chamberlain of Germany and Paige Chamberlain of Indiana; two sisters Donna Salas-Porras and her husband Paco of New Mexico and Paula Susan Alvord and her husband Bobby Hoffman of North Carolina; nieces and nephews Bobby and Jenny Mack and their son Aiden, Eric Mack and Evan Salas-Porras. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00am Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery at Peagram.
