Paul Edward Burnett, age 82 of Nashville, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Burnett and Pauline Gregory, wife, Melba Oldham Burnett, sister, Mattie Lou Haliburton, brothers, David (Sonny) Burnett, Jack Burnett and Jimmy Burnett.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Leon White will officiate. Interment with Military Honors will be 2:00pm Saturday at Dixon Springs Cemetery, Hartsville, TN.

He is survived by two daughters, Dianne Burnett (Randall) White of Lebanon, TN, Denise Burnett (Andy) Davis of Murfreesboro, TN.

Mr. Burnett was a loving husband and father. He served in the Tennessee Army National Guard for 27 years before retirement.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randall White, Andy Davis, Chris Kaigler, Nick Kaigler, Clark Lanzendorf, Reese Lanzendorf, Steven Lanzendorf, Grey Dalton, Tyler White, Brett Pruitt, Danny Green, Joel White, Ben Pruitt, Michael Oldham, Mike Wright, David Wright, Chris Koch and Mark Trauernicht.
