PAUL DOUGLAS ALLEN, age 60, of Murfreesboro went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. He was born in Davidson County and was the son of Cleo Collins Allen of Greenbrier and the late Douglas Hall Allen. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Valerie Skaggs Allen; son, Justin Paul Allen of Murfreesboro; mother, Cleo Allen of Greenbrier; brother, David Allen of Greenbrier. Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Phillip Robinson and Russ Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 pm Thursday. Mr. Allen was a member of the New Vision Baptist Church where he was saved this past year on February 13, 2007. He was a former employee of U. S. Roller Works. He was a graduate of Greenbrier High School where he played basketball. He attended Tenn. Tech. and MTSU. Paul Allen loved the beach, the ocean, and enjoyed traveling to Gatlinburg with his family.
