PATRICIA GOODMAN SORY, age 67, of LaVergne, died February 4, 2013. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:30 AM at Jefferson Pike Church of Christ in LaVergne with Bro. Jimmy Carver and her nephew Trey Helton officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park In Nashville. Mrs. Sory is survived by her husband, Douglas Sory; daughter Crissy (Jeremy) Dunn; mother, Stella V. Goodman; grandchildren, Lila Emery Dunn and Thatcher Goodman Dunn; sisters, Sherry (Thomas) Carney, Donna Kay (Roy) Helton, and Mary Dee (Billy) Francis; brother, James Granville (Leanne) Goodman, Jr. and many loving nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sory was preceded in death by her father, the late James Granville Goodman. Mrs. Sory was a member of Jefferson Pike Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
