Patricia “Patsy” Morton Rogers, age 87 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2026. A native of Murfreesboro, TN, she was the daughter of the late Fisher Guy Morton and Mildred Hayes Morton. Mrs. Rogers was also preceded in death by her husband, Marion Lemuel Rogers, a brother, Bobby Morton, and a nephew, John Morton.

Mrs. Rogers is survived by her son, Guy Rogers, and his wife Amanda of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Mary Morton Woodard and her husband Bob of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Elli, Carson, Jacob, Jonah, and Everleigh; and nieces, Amy Harrison and Katie Woodard.

Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday following the visitation with Rev. David Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Rogers was a member of First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, and was a retired teacher and librarian having taught at Murfreesboro Central High School and Oakland High School.
