Patricia Russell Coleman, age 87, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014. A native of Williamsport, TN, she was the daughter of the late James F. Russell, Sr., and Gladys Totty Russell. Patricia Coleman was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William B. Coleman and her brother James F. Russell, Jr. Mrs. Coleman is survived by her children, Patty (Ed) Wiley of Memphis, David (Pam) Coleman of Germantown and Caroline (Carl) Ott of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Ben, Jane and Rebecca Wiley, Kristin (Walker) Gibson, Jonathan and James Coleman, Coleman and Connor Ott; and great-grandchild Gracie Gibson. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with visitation beginning at noon. The Rev. Susan Padgett and Dr. Jim Clardy will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and sons-in-law. Mrs. Coleman, a graduate of the University of Tennessee and Middle Tennessee State University, was a retired Rutherford County educator. Until recently Mrs. Coleman was an active member at St. Mark's United Methodist Church where she enjoyed her Sunday school class. She was also a member of the Col. Hardy Murfree Chapter of the DAR, the Woman's Club, the Garden Club, and the Craddock Club. Mr. and Mrs. Coleman also delivered Meals on Wheels for many years. Mrs. Coleman enjoyed friends and family and the artsflower arranging, painting, books, and travel. Memorials may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 1267 N.
