PASCHAL C. SHELTON age 104, of Big Springs Community died Monday at Adams Place. He was a native of Beech Grove and the son of the late S.F. and Arnie Frizzell Shelton. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Reverend Forrest Clark and Reverend Gayle Alexander will officiate and burial will be in Shelton Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Ruby Summers Simpson Shelton. One son Paschal C. Shelton Jr. of Tullahoma, and a step daughter Susan Elaine Fugate of Crossville, one brother Lon Shelton of Shelbyville, and a sister Sue Clark of Murfreesboro, one grand daughter Allison Gumme of Tullahoma and a great grand daughter Sarah Bauer of Boulder, CO. Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his first wife Wynne Gonce Shelton. He was a member of Garrison Fork Baptist Church. He received his B.S. degree at M.T.S.U. and his master degree from Peabody University. He was a retired principal in Rutherford and Coffee County schools. He was a member of the Herman Masonic Lodge #239. Active pallbearers: Ransom Clark, Barry Robinson, Rex and Lon McDonald, Glenn and Brian Richard. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 P.M.
