Oscar Leslie Sanders, Jr, age 74, of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Oscar Leslie and Laura Katherine Eaton Sanders, Sr. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Funeral Chapel, Murfreesboro. Rick Duggin will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. He is survived by his wife, Judy Hill Sanders, sons and daughters-in-law, Bubba and Carla Sanders, Keith and Andrea Sanders, step children, Tammy (Paul Morton) Ogles, Kevin Ogles, sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Joe Jenkins, brother and sister-in-law, Don and Mancy Sanders, grandchildren, Austin, Mollie, Keith, and Gracen Sanders, all of Murfreesboro. Mr. Sanders was a member of Westvue Church of Christ, a 1956 graduate of Central High School, and attended MTSU. He served in the Army National Guard, was a General Contractor, and after retirement worked for the Rutherford County Property Assessor. Pallbearers will be Austin Sanders, Keith Sanders, Roger Bobo, Jonathan Bobo, Tommy Collins, and Mark Hudson. The men of Westvue Church of Christ will serve as Honorary Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
