OPAL CAUDILL CARMACK, age 75 of Murfreesboro died Thursday July 9, 2009. She was a native of Knott County, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Carmack Sr.; step-son, John ONeal Carmack; parents and, Jonathan and Mary Caudill; brothers, Leon , Paul Ray and Joe Caudill; sisters, Thelma Gregory and Elma Cook. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Josh Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Ann King of Ohio, Carolyn Sue Hand of Utah; sons, Wendell Lee Carmack of South Carolina, and Stewart Wayne Carmack of Georiga; step-son, Fred Carmack, Jr. of Ohio; brother, Jonas Caudill of KY; sisters, Dean Fox of Murfreesboro, Gloria Alice Coppinger of McMinnville, Minnie Wodynski of Illinois, Velma Moskal of McMinnville, and Lizzie Caudill of KY; four grandchildren and four step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
