Ollis Cleon "Peck" Simmons, Jr. , age 82 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday September 12, 2017. A native of Pike County, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Ollis Cleon Simmons, Sr. and Hilda Dykes Simmons. He was also preceded in death by his wife Roma Rea Fleming Simmons and a sister Genevieve "Ginger" Payne.

Mr. Simmons is survived by a son, Lance Simmons and his wife Christy; grandchildren, Tori and Carson Simmons all of Murfreesboro, TN.

A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Saturday September 16, 2017, at Silver Creek Cemetery at Dykes Crossing in Pike County, Mississippi. Burial will follow in the Silver Creek Cemetery.

Mr. Simmons was a member of the Baptist Church, a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, and a retired farm equipment salesman.
