Olive Elizabeth Cox Elgin, age 82 of Murfreesboro died Saturday September 8, 2012. She was a native of Honea Path, South Carolina and was preceded in death by her parents, L.T. and Macie Wilson Cox, and her husband, Furman Elgin. Mrs. Elgin was a member of Chiquola Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Phil Elgin and wife Judy of Crossville, TN., Tony Elgin and wife Judy of Murfreesboro, Steve Elgin and wife Cindy of Murfreesboro, Mark Elgin of Murfreesboro, and Teresa Crigger and husband Steve of Murfreesboro; ten grandchildren ; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Opal Lawton of Honea Path, South Carolina. Graveside service will be 2:00PM Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev Don Morris will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tracy Osborne, Jeremy Elgin, Jonathan Elgin, John Goodwin, James Perryman, Derrick Elgin, Daniel Elgin, and Jason Bly.
