Norman Wakefield Davis, age 68, of Murfreesboro passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015. He was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by his father, John Norman Davis.

Funeral service will be 12noon Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Bro. Dan Allen will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years come December 20, 2015, Peggy Swaner Davis, mother, Christine Wakefield Davis, brother and sister-in-law, John Gaylon and Beverly Ogles Davis, and several nieces and nephews.

Norman was a faithful and active member of the Assembly of Christ Church. He was employed by GE for 32 years and was a driver for the DAA Auto Auctions for the past 9 years.

Norman enjoyed being with family and friends, was an avid race car fan, loved his pets and was a beloved husband, brother, son, uncle and friend who will be missed greatly.
