Norman Spurgeon Benton, age 75 of Woodbury died Monday October 13, 2014. He was a native of Houston County Alabama, and was the son of the late Norman Ralph Benton and Mable Louise Stanford Mr. Bent was retired from Civil Service, and a member of Newton Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife Annie Richards Benton; daughters, Chandra Boutwell and husband James, and Melissa Ann Hailey; grandchildren, Erica Lane Mauldin, and Spurgeon Farrell Mauldin all of Woodbury; brothers, Charles Wayne Benton of Hawaii, Sherman Benton of Pinckard, Alabama; sister, Miriam Speight of Dothan Alabama.
