Norma Lee Paschall Smith, age 81, of Murfreesboro, TN. died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Community Care. A native of Memphis, TN. she was the daughter of the late Duke and Erma France Paschall. She is also preceded in death by her husband Raymond A. Smith and a sister Linda Norwood. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1:00PM at Evergreen Cemetery. Brother Phillip Slate will officiate. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Smith is survived by her three sons and daughter in law; Raymond L. Smith of Smyrna, Larry (Jackie) Smith of Locust Grove, GA; and Charles E. Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; a daughter, Nancy L. Smith of Murfreesboro, TN.; and four grandchildren, Allen E. Smith of Memphis, TN., Cayce Rogers of Montgomery, AL., Erica Smith of Memphis, TN. and Courtney Smith of Denver, Colorado. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Memphis, TN. She was a retired school secretary for the Memphis City Schools system.
