Norma Sue Fitzhugh, age 84 of Smyrna died Tuesday June 2, 2015. She was a native of Lexington TN and was preceded in death by her husband, William Fitzhugh who died in 2000, also her parents, Barney and Jewel Ridley McBride, brother, Kenneth McBride. Mrs. Fitzhugh was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Michelle Jacobs and husband Robert of Smyrna, Michael Fitzhugh of Nashville; brothers, Bobby McBride of Parsons; sisters, Maridith Wood of Lexington, and Jean Rucker of Bellevue; grandchildren, Joshua, Alex, and Sam Fitzhugh, Bobby, Casey and Adam Jacobs; two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Harlon McBride will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
