Nicholas "Nick" Todd Wise, Sr , age 43 of Smyrna, TN, died Friday November 3, 2017 from a heroin overdose. He was born September 18, 1974 in Barberton, OH, but resided in Smyrna, TN the past 23 years.

Nick leaves behind his loving sons, Nicholas Wise, Jr. of Smyrna, TN, and Jack Wise of Shelbyville, TN; parents, Robert "Bob" and Margaret "Peggy" Gombasky Wise of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Tim Wise of Smyrna, TN, Rob Wise of LaVergne, TN, Chris Wise of Smyrna, TN, and Jay Wise and his wife Shauna of LaVergne, TN; sisters, Carla West and her husband Les of Smyrna, TN, and Amber Huggins and her husband Charles of Tallahassee, FL; 16 nieces and nephews. Nick also leaves behind his girlfriend and best friend, Danessa Zwarton of Shelbyville, TN.

Visitation will be Tuesday November 7, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday November 8, 2017 at St. Luke Catholic Church with Father Jacob Dio officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Nick Graduated with honors from Miller-Mott College in Nashville, TN. He was employed by Trinidad- Benham in LaVergne, TN.
