MRS. NELLIE LEE BARRETT WEST, age 90, of Smyrna, Tn. died Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at home. She was the daughter of the late Elmodem Shepherd and Martha Jane Elizabeth Potts Barrett. She is survived by her daughters, Josephine West Victory and Nancy West of Smyrna; son, William Earl West of Murfreesboro; half-brother, Leonard Ovin Barrett of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Danny (Veronica) Victory; great grandchildren, Daniel (Keri) Victory, Stephanie Victory, Brooke Victory and Austin Victory; niece, Roberta Underwood Victory; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services 11:30 am Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Milton Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 4-8 pm Wednesday. Mrs. West was married to the late William James West who died in 1982. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Jane Elizabeth West. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
