Nathan Nickel

Mr. Nathan Kyle Nickel, age 40, of LaVergne, TN passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2026. He was born in Nashville, TN to Bob and Laurie Nickel. Nathan was an avid Star Wars fan. He enjoyed anime, bushido, and gaming with his siblings. Nathan was a kid at heart and continued his enthusiasm for Pokémon. He had a passion for animals and volunteered at the Nashville Zoo and Humane Society. Nathan truly cared for others before himself and was known to donate to others in need.

Nathan is survived by his parents, Bob and Laurie Nickel; grandmothers, Rose Gail Anderson and Loudean Nickel; siblings, Ashley Danielle Sparkman and her husband Will, Brandon Tyler Nickel, Kayla Rene Brown, Robert Andrew Nickel and his wife Ayari, and Benjamin Preston Nickel and his wife Yasmine; nieces and nephews, William, Elya, Serenity, Jay, Samuel, Andrew, Kai, Sora, and Daniel; aunts, Valarie Montgomery, Monica Anderson, and Cathy Fox and her husband Brad; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Andrew Jackson Anderson, Jr. and Robert Eugene Nickel, and several feline companions.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 12:00noon until 1:00pm at Woodmont Hills Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 1:00pm at Woodmont Hills Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery.
