Nathan Burke "Nate" Joines age 22 of Murfreesboro TN died suddenly on Tuesday December 24, 2013. He was born in Indianapolis Indiana and lived most of his life in Murfreesboro. Nate was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, and was a graduate of Oakland High School. Nate played center on the 2008 Oakland High School State championship team. He had attended Tennessee Tech and was enrolled at Motlow State Community College. Nate is survived by his parents, Mark and Jennifer Rapp Joines of Murfreesboro; brother, Matthew Joines of Murfreesboro; sister, Liz Scott and husband James of Hendersonville; niece, Madelyn Burke Scott; grandparents, Donna and Robert Rapp of St. Louis Missouri, and Linda Joines of Tipton Indiana. Nate was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Joines. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakland High School Football Team in memory of Nate Joines. A celebration of Nate's life will be 4:00PM Saturday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 1267 N Rutherford Blvd, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Rev. Martha Touchton, Dr. Jim Clardy and Dr. Craig Goff will officiate. The family will reserve seating for Oakland High School Football Family at Nate's celebration of life service.
