NANNIE IMOGENE WAUFORD BURROUGHS, age 80 of Smyrna died Monday August 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Burroughs, and parents, George and Carrie Hinkle Wauford. She was a member of Assembly of God and a devoted wife and mother. Funeral service will be 1PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Buddy Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her children, Judy(Gary) Garrison or LaVergne, Richard (Jayne) Burroughs of Nashville Connie Binkley of Antioch, and Bobby Sullivan of Nashville; 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Bobbie Sue Sorrow of Nashville, brother, Joe Wauford of Nashville.
