NANCY L. GRIFFIN, of Smyrna, died July 19, 2010 at home following a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Nancy was a native of Nashville and daughter of Mary T. White and the late William R. White. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna with Don Morris officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Nancy is survived by her husband, Mike Griffin; daughter, Patty (Alan) Collins, Murfreesboro; son, Danny (Karen) Griffin, Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Griffin and Cason Collins and Jackson and James Griffin; mother, Mary T. White, Atlanta, GA.; sisters, Patti (John) Mouvery, Atlanta, GA and Tamra (Doug) Adams, Richmond, VA; brother, Michael (Susan) White, Atlanta, GA; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was a former librarian at the Smyrna Public Library. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
