Nancy Ann Gillespie Yandell Senter, age 93 of Hermitage, TN, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024. A native of Jackson, TN, she was the daughter of the late Leon Bowers Gillespie and Bessie Laverne Langford Woodard. Mrs. Senter was also preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Joe Yandell who died in 1964 and her second husband, James Riley Senter, Sr. who died in 1988, a daughter, Cynthia Ann Akins who died in 2024, a brother, Charles Woodard, and two stepsons, James R. Senter, Jr. and John R. Senter.

Mrs. Senter is survived by a son, Michael Brent Yandell of Hermitage, TN; daughter, Kay Ferrell of Nashville, TN; and two grandchildren, Robert H. Williams of Hermitage, TN and Reagan P. Sparks of Chicago, IL; and a stepdaughter, Elaine J. Woods of Medina, TN.

Mrs. Senter was a member of the Methodist Church, and retired owner and operator along with her husband of Senter Cartage Company in Nashville, TN.

Services and burial will follow at a later date at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Medina, TN.
