Obituary

Nancy Biddle Thrower Coleman, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 7, 2013. She was born March 12, 1933 in Bon Aqua, TN, to the late Maude Louise Potts Thrower and Michael Elmore Thrower. She lived all her adult life in Murfreesboro, and was a member of Fellowship United Methodist Church. Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walter P. Buddy Coleman, Jr. She is survived by one son, W. Page Coleman, III and his wife Andrea, daughters, Martha Bowman and her husband Billy, and Amy Smith and her husband Andy all of Murfreesboro; brother, John Michael Thrower and his wife Laura of Nashville; grandchildren, Liz Smith, Nathan (Diane) Smith, Will (Summer) Bowman, Taylor, Michael, and Drew Coleman, and great-granddaughter, Mia Nicole Smith. Mrs. Coleman enjoyed family times at Center Hill Lake and Jekyll Island, Georgia, and holidays when all were together. She had a big heart for animals and nature. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Don Morris will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral services. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Fellowship United Methodist Church or Alive Hospice in memory of Mrs. Coleman.
