Nancy Burke, age 75, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 18, 2015. A native of Chattanooga, TN, she was preceded in death by her parents, Robert King and Kathleen Gang Smith and her son, Stephen Burke. A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church. Father Jacob Dio will officiate. Ms. Burke is survived by her sons, Lloyd Burke and his wife, Anne Marie of Cumming, GA, Robert Burke and his wife, Lisa of Monroe, GA, and James Burke and his wife, Michelle of Smyrna, TN; brother, Robert King Smith Jr. and his wife, Judy of Chattanooga, TN; sister, Katherine Owens and her husband, Lamar of Chattanooga, TN; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ms. Burke was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. She was a retired worker with Betterbilt Aluminum in Smyrna, TN. Ms. Burke was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Memorials in memory of Ms. Burke may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
