Myrtle Lee Gossett age 84 of Murfreesboro, passed away Friday November 14, 2014. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Nora Melton Victory. She was also preceded in death by brothers; Jimmy D. Victory, Bobby Victory and half brother; Raymond Young. Mrs. Gossett is survived by her husband of 60 years; Leamon Gossett, sons; Ron Gossett and his wife Cindy, Tim Gossett and his wife Laura all of Murfreesboro, two grandchildren; Lauren Gossett, and Drew Gossett. She is also survived by her sister; Peggy Young and her husband Jim, a brother; Ernest Victory and his wife Bobbie Jean all of Murfreesboro, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gossett retired from Kroger's after 38 years of service. Visitation will be 10:00am until time of service at 12:00 noon Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Drew Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Drew Gossett, Tyler Knox, Steve Victory, Bubba Victory, Danny Victory, and Roger Young serving as pallbearers.
