MORGAN BELL DAVIS, age 77, died Oct. 19, 2009. He was a native of Rutherford Co. and son of the late Asa and Florence Smith Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife the late Catherine Davis. Mr. Davis is survived by daughters, Betty Shelton, Shelbyville and Tina McCrary, Murfreesboro; son, Jackie Davis, Christiana; sisters, Mamie Brown and Lucille Ogles both of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday at Old Millersburg Cemetery in Christiana.
