Moranda Sue Adams, age 82 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at NHC of Murfreesboro from Lewy Body Dementia. A native of Rutherford County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Herman Leverette and Ruby Sue Beasley Leverette. Moranda was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sharon Ann Herrod, sister, Peggy Joyce Leverette and a brother, Gary Leverette.

Moranda is survived by her former husband, Dexter Adams, Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Donna Adams Victory of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Lucas Victory of Murfreesboro, TN; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Rose Victory of Murfreesboro, TN; son-in-law, John Herrod of Christiana, TN; sisters, Recia Ferrell, Thelma Price, Betty (Jerry) Thomas all of Murfreesboro, TN, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Monday, October 27, 2025, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Monday at Evergreen Cemetery with Brother David Moody officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Moranda was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Donna wishes to thank NHC of Murfreesboro and Caris Hospice for taking great care of her mom. Moranda loved her family dearly. She loved her flowers and taking care of others. Moranda was always in the kitchen cooking for family and friends. Her grandson, Lucas Victory was the highlight of her life.
