Minerva Eleanor Hinton, age 82 of Murfreesboro died Sunday April 16, 2017. She was a native of Maine, NY and was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Hinton, Sr., also her parents, Ernest and Helen Chapin Guiles; siblings, Howard, John, Donald, Rodney, Jimmy, Fred, Glenn Guiles, Winona Collins, Leona Brahel, Helen Pancoast, Wilma Nicholas. Mrs. Hinton was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, William Charles Hinton, Jr and wife Cyndy of Franklin, John Richard Hinton and wife Kim of Murfreesboro, Tammy Farrer and husband Ralph of Milton, Robert Hinton of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Leslie Deslauriers and husband Adam, Jenny Shouse and husband Eric, Killian Sharp and husband Brock, Ryan Hinton, Dylan Hinton, Sharon Farrer, Helen Farrer; great-grandchildren, Phoenix Shouse, Kristofer Corum, and Van Sharp; longtime companion Clara Bell.

The family would like to expresses a special thank you to Park View Meadows for taking care of Mrs. Hinton the last three years.

Graveside service will be 3:30 PM Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Dr. William Berger and Dr. Sally Hughes will officiate. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family of Mrs. Hinton at www.woodfinchapel.com
