Milton C. Vernier, Jr., age 91 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday, April 22, 2018. A native of Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of the late Milton Vernier Sr. and Florence Yeager Vernier.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Knight and husband Ronnie of Rockvale; son, Greg Vernier and wife Kim of Murfreesboro; three grandchildren, Jon Knight and wife Brittany, and Jennifer Knight, all of Rockvale, Alexis Vernier of Murfreesboro; and three great-grandchildren, Jace, Owen, and Hudson.

He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Vernier was a proud veteran, having served in Vietnam, and was retired with 25 years of service in the United States Army.

Inurnment of his cremated remains will take place Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery.
