MILTON EUGENE NORRIS, age 81, of Murfreesboro, died Saturday, November 13, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Dearborn, Missouri on June 11, 1929. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dan Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Whorton Springs Cemetery in Smithville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Norris is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie Braswell Norris, sister in law Faye (Arlie) Braswell Jacoby of AZ., brother in law Kenneth Braswell of Murfreesboro, niece, Arlinda (Frank) Gomez of AZ., nephew Barry (Sue) Jacoby of AZ., three great nieces and three great nephews. Mr. Norris retired as a master sergeant from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. He also worked locally for the United States Postal service for many years retiring in 1995. He is a member of the Parkway Baptist Church in Smyrna. He is also a member of the Masonic Lodge and is a Shriner.
