MILLIE ARMSTRONG MASSEY age 81 of Murfreesboro died Sunday December 27, 2009. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Ella B. and Edna Coursey Douglas. Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Steve Goforth officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Massey is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Sherri and Brother Steve Goforth of Murfreesboro, three Grandchildren Shane (Allison) Goforth , Stephenie (Ruben) Lopez, Katie Allison Goforth all of Murfreesboro, and three Great Grandchildren Hannah Elisabeth Cherry, Walter Tucker Goforth, and Tripp Lee Goforth. She is preceded in death by her husbands Walter Armstrong, and William (Bill) Massey, seven sisters and three brothers. Mrs. Massey was a member of Fair Havens Independent Baptist Church.
