Mildred L. Tetley , age 83 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021. A native of Jasper, AL, she was born on June 18, 1938 to the late Cecil B. and Lois Key Thames. Mrs. Tetley was also preceded in death by her son, Marty Burchett; sisters, Sarah Catherine Crisp and Anne Piercy; brothers, Charles and Gene Thames.

Mrs. Tetley is survived by her husband, Charles K. Tetley; daughters, Kimberly Koydemir and her husband Mitch of Houston, TX and Michelle Patroni and her husband Frank of Knoxville, TN; stepson, Allen Tetley of Johns Creek, GA; stepdaughter, Michelle Simpkins of Rock Island, IL; sister, Betty Gail Wilson of Tullahoma, TN; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery with Dr. Mike Norris officiating.

Mrs. Tetley was a retired Senate Secretary with the State of Tennessee and a proud member of Franklin Road Baptist Church. Her life verse was Philippians 4:13. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
