Mildred Ann Roberson, age 76 of Smyrna passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Clinton E. and Nannie Bell Layne Council. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lynn Roberson.

Funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in the Layne Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Chris (Rebecca) Roberson of Eagleville, Tim (Robbie) Reed of Lewisburg, Bobby Reed of Smyrna, daughter, Donna Seabury of Clearwater, FL, brothers, James P. Council and William K. Council, both of Almaville, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.

Mrs. Roberson was a waitress for many years and also worked as a caregiver at the Louisa School.
