Mildred Moore Rankin, age 88 of Murfreesboro died Monday February 12th 2018. She was born on September 11, 1929 in Old Hickory, TN and was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley C. "Boots" Rankin, parents, James R. Moore and Louise Glover Moore; brothers, James E. Moore and Jerry L. Moore. Mrs. Rankin was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by daughters, Brenda Rankin, Kathy Edwards and husband Steve, Sandy Medlin and husband Galen; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; brother, Billy D. Moore; sister-in-law, Earline Moore.

Funeral service will be 3PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jim Paschall and Galen Medlin will officiate. Graveside service will be 10AM Friday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Pegram. Pallbearers will be Chris Riley, David Edwards, Jack English, Wes Birdwell, Corey Wheeler, and Kevin English. Visitation will be 4PM to 7PM Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. www.woodfinhchapel.com
