Mildred Jeniece Busey Mayfield, age 74, of Murfreesboro died on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Arcie and Etta Jacobs Busey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Mayfield, son, James Lannis Mayfield, and brother, Roy Busey. She is survived by her son, John Mayfield and his wife Annette of Murfreesboro, daughter, Beverly Hardy of Woodbury, God daughter, Patty Marie Busey of Murfreesboro, brothers, William and Lebron Busey of Murfreesboro, sister, Faye West of Murfreesboro, three grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Mayfield was retired from the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 12noon Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
