Mildred Arms "Murry" Jones, age 87, died Saturday, September 14, 2013 at her home. She was born at Castilian Springs in Sumner County but spent most of her life in Rutherford County and was the daughter of the late Millard J. and Lona Cherry Arms. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband of 73 years, John A. "Jack" Jones; one son, Andrew "Doodle" Jones; grandchildren, Andy Jones and his wife Ellen, Teresa Dunaway and her husband David; mother of her grandchildren, Sue Jones and brother, Cecil Arms all of Murfreesboro; great grandchildren, John Dunaway and his wife McCall and James Dunaway, Clay and Kayla Jones; and great great grandson, Cale Dunaway. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Grandson and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
