Mildred Lee Gentry , age 94 of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away Thursday December 14, 2017. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late John R. Lee, Sr. and Estelle Burgess Lee. Mrs. Gentry was also preceded in death by her husband, Finis "Buster" Gentry, a daughter-in-law, Mary Gentry, brother, John R. Lee, Jr, and a sister, Catherine Lee Lawrence.

Mrs. Gentry is survived by her son, Richard Gentry and Lynne Ballou, of Canadaigua, NY; daughter, Carol Mack and her husband Roger, of Lewisville, TX, sister-in-law, Naomi Thompson Lee of Smyrna, TN; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday December 28, 2017 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday December 29, 2017 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Rob Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with Randy Mack, Eric Gentry, Dean Boyd, Wayne Harvey, Leon Hogg, Bruce Gentry, Bill Lee, and Loren Vanderkooi serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Gentry was a member of Kedron United Methodist Church, and a 1941 graduate of Smyrna High School. Mrs. Gentry was a retired Office Manager with Gentry Realty in Smyrna, TN.

Memorials may be made to the Kedron United Methodist Church in memory of Mrs. Gentry.
