Mrs. Mildred Beatrice Nelms Bryan, age 95, of Smyrna, TN passed away Monday, March 14, 2022. She was born in Walnut, Mississippi to the late Sidney and Evelyn Stamey Nelms.

Mrs. Bryan was a loyal military wife for 42 years, devoted mother to her 5 children, and a generous grandmother. She was a faithful member of LaVergne Church of Christ for over 30 years. Mrs. Bryan loved going to church and when able, enjoyed participating in the Ladies' Bible Study.

Mrs. Bryan is survived by her children, Linda Ables of Claremore, OK, Dannie Jones and his wife Deborah of Granbury, TX, Ronnie Jones of Rossville, GA, and Theresa Richie of Smyrna; 4 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Larry Jones; her husband, Thomas L. Bryan; and a grandson, Justin Richie.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, March 21, 2022 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 21, 2022 at 7:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will take place Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:00am at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
