Mildred Basham Adams, age 79, died Tuesday at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was a native of Murfreesboro and a daughter of the late Grover P. and Minnie Alexander Basham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Cephus (Margaret) and Warren Basham and two special aunts, Eliza Garvin and Grace Fuller. Funeral services will be 2:30 pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Rick Duggin officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mildred was a member of Westvue Church of Christ, a 1952 graduate of Central High School and retired from State Farm in Georgia. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Claude T. Adams, daughters Valerie Swenfurth, her husband John and their son Kyle all of Palm Harbor, FL and Claudia McDaniel, her husband Jeff and their children Rachel and Corey all of Warner Robins, GA; sisters in law May Belle Basham, Sara (Robert) Lufkin, Pat Adams and several nieces and nephews.
