Michelle Lee Cook, 44, of LaVergne, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on February 23 ^rd , 2019.

Michelle was born in Campbell, New York on February 20 ^th , 1975. She graduated from LaVergne High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro. She worked as a Medical Assistant and book keeper. Being a mother was her most rewarding job. Michelle loved rounding up her favorite people for gatherings. Her happy place was in the middle of all her friends and family cooking and making everyone laugh. To relax she loved a good mystery show or Nora Roberts book. She was a loving Mother, Grandma, Wife, Daughter, and Niece.

Michelle is proceeded in death by her grandparents Shirley and Carl Cronk of LaVergne and Uncle Gordy Cronk of Campbell, NY.

Michelle is survived by her children Chelsea Walker and her husband Jimmy of Smyrna, Logan Cook of Smyrna, Parker Shifflett and Coby Shifflett of LaVergne; 1 grandson, Jamen Walker of Smyrna; Spouse Eddie Shifflett of LaVergne. Other survivors include her brothers Christopher Snyder and Gene Snyder of Cape Coral, FL, Theron Seeley and Dave Seeley of Campbell, NY. She is also survived by her parents Sandra Lombardo of Nashville and Gene Snyder of Cape Coral, FL and her father David Seeley of Campbell, NY.

Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. on March 30 ^th , 2019 at Woodfin Funeral Home of Smyrna, TN followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m.
